    Hi everyone,

I have a resource page on my website with an image of the resource/asset to be downloaded. This is a field group.

The page itself has the ‘nofollow’ setting within the Yoast plugin where Google should crawl all links on the page. But, this setting is not being applied to the link of the image asset.

So, the image has a link to the asset with a nofollow attribute. I can’t find a setting in the field group that specifies nofollow, nor can I find this on the post/resource page itself.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this? ??

  • Hi,

If Yoast is outputting a nofollow tag on the page, you can expect Google and other crawlers to NOT follow links, this would include a link to the image asset.

Can you elaborate more on what is happening with the image asset? Is Google somehow crawling it? Can you provide a URL to the page?

If Google is saying something about the URL are you able to take a screenshot of the issue? You can use a tool like: https://pasteboard.co/ to share the image.
