"nofollow" in author biographical info.

Hello,

I have a plugin that adds “nofollow” to external links within a post but not to external links with an authors bio.(I presume because it is outside the post).

When I manually add rel=”nofollow” to the link in the author’s box, it never remains when saved. I know I am missing something very simple, but I can’t see it!
