    I am using the YITH plugin, currently free version.
    I have selected ‘Enable SEO Option’
    I selected ‘noidex’ ‘nofollow’
    However, when I check the source code I get the following:-
    <meta name=”robots” content=”follow, index, max-snippet:-1, max-video-preview:-1, max-image-preview:large”/>
    Is this because I am using the free version?
    Will the Premium version be able to add the ‘noindex’ tag?
    Any advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Hello,

    You should check if there is another meta tag with the name robots, there should be two of them, the one your pointed and another with the SEO option.

    Let me know and have a great day.

    At the top of the page I have the following meta robot which says to content ‘follow’

    <!– Search Engine Optimisation by Rank Math PRO – https://s.rankmath.com/home –>
    <title>Insulated Log Cabins | Bespoke Log Cabins Built to Suit You</title>
    <meta name=”description” content=”See How Good These Log Cabins Are At Our Surrey Show Rooms. Insulated And Fitting Option. ? Come And See Our Cabins or ? 0800 999 6995. Est 1979″/>
    <meta name=”robots” content=”follow, index, max-snippet:-1, max-video-preview:-1, max-image-preview:large”/>

    Further down I have the following

    <meta name=”robots” content=”noindex, nofollow”>
    <noscript><style>.woocommerce-product-gallery{ opacity: 1 !important; }</style></noscript>

    Does that noindex all the Yith pages?

    Thank you.

    Hi there,

    Ok, then our tag is added with the correct value, this other meta tag is added by other source. Please check which source is it ( another plugin or the theme ).

    We use a WordPress functions to add this and it seems the other source is not ( as is it would, then you will only have one robot meta tag ). Once you find it contact their developers and ask them to use this WordPress function and it may cause problem having 2 of them.
