non admin can’t access home page or admin

    today morning I have upgraded my site wp 5.6 to wp 5.6.1. Then i updated Ultimate member base plugin to the latest (2.1.15)
    now non admin roles can’t go to wp-admin. neither visit the homepage after login. they are redirect to their profile page. i thought other plugins maybe conflict wwith latest. so i downgraded to wp 5.6 and disabled all plugins except Ultimate Member plugin. the problem still occurs. then i reinstalled 5.6.1 and enabled all other plugin except UM and everything is ok. furthermore, even the previous version of UM occuring this problem. i am afraid i have ruined my database by some other plugin.

    Is your homepage a static page or is it set to display the latest posts?
    Please go to WP Admin > Settings > Reading.

    it is a static page.
    it is solved. i have reset user roles. and created the roles again manually.

    Hi, I am having the same problem. Can you clarify what you mean by “reset” user roles. Did you remove then recreate them?

    nah. i used ‘publishpress capabilities’ plugin where you can find an option to reset user roles and capabilities to the default.
