non-AMP version smaller and faster than AMP-version

I have this very simple, basic WP-site on which I have been testing the AMP-plugin.
Turns out, in speed/size-testing, the non-AMP-Version is lighter and faster (fully loaded 130kb) than the AMP-Version (466kb).
This is mainly due to the 3 .ttf-files (yes, I know, they load asynchronous, but still, they carry 53% of the kb-weight) and the additional ampproject .js-files.
So there might be the advantage of caching by Google, but in the end – does it make sense all at to have this AMP version in this case?
