• Not real happy at the moment and pissed that you wasted my time. I chose your membership 2 plugin specifically because it had authorize.net payment option which is stated in the description of the free version. Imagine my surprise when it’s not included in the payment gateways section. You also fail to disclose that access and subscription levels are limited to 3 which wouldn’t be so bad except because of the structure one has to be used for not logged in visitors. I Don’t have time to waste on installing and spending time setting up a plugin only to hit a wall that is clearly bait and switch to try and get me to pay $19/month to get a feature that was described as included in the description of the free version as well as screenshots. This is how not to get a customer.

    Hey ommerc,

    Hope you’re well today ??

I’m not sure which version of the plugin you’ve installed but latest version of Membership 2 which is 4.0.0.7 does have Authorize.net Gateway and I don’t believe that we have limitation on number of active levels.

Can you please advise on version that you’re using?

    Best regards,
    Bojan

    Hey again,

A quick follow up on this one. You’re probably using the old version of Membership.

Once you install the plugin you’re prompted with a message to upgrade to Membership 2, please see screenshot https://screencast.com/t/H0kdzAe6.

Once you do you’ll be able to use new version that includes Authorize.net Gateway and no limit on number of levels that you can have.

Hope this helps and have a great weekend ??

    Cheers,
    Bojan

It was the latest version of the plugin form here. I had just installed it 11-18-15. There was definitely no authorize.net gateway, only PayPal options. And I was definitely getting a cheating uh? Message when I tried to add a fourth level. I added the plugin via my WORDPRESS dashboard so I don’t know. Didn’t have time to wait so had to get pro so I could move forward last night. Just repeated install on another site and it does have the authorize.net so apparently There was an issue on setup. The best I can tell the issue was due to making changes outside the setup wizard. My sincerest apologies.

Thank you for your attention and quick response. Definitely my error not the plugin.

    Hey again ommerc,

No problem at all! I often skip those notification messages and setup wizards myself when installing plugins so I can understand that ??

Glad to hear that you managed to setup it properly now ??

    Cheers,
    Bojan
