If I have to click on all those pages to figure out what’s going on, you really need to turn off all those pop-ups. (And if they are this annoying for me, imagine how annoying they are for your website’s visitors. Grrr~~~~)

Did you create and then delete a page with the title “1”. It will occupy a space in the database until you empty the trash on the pages panel.

Really sorry about the popups, was experimenting with ads. I’ve disabled them all.

No I haven’t created any page with that name. Infact if I create any ‘numbered’ page (say n), WordPress somehow assumes it already exists, and changes it’s link to ‘n-2’ after publishing.

Try disabling your plugins to rule out a plugin issue.

You can also try a plugin which will clean up and optimize your database.

I’m at a bit of a loss here. I’ve never seen a fresh WP install do that.
