• I’ve updated this review from 1 star to 5 stars. It was originally due to a slow response time, which the author eventually apologized for a gave me a credit for, saying they do make mistakes from time to time. They did a lot to make up for it so I’m updating my review.

    Hello NVG,

    We responded back after you mentioned it had been 5 days. We greatly apologize. Your request was about the filter drop down sort and only showing one category. We replied that there was a way to customize it.

    Can we please remove this review and proceed with the support email thread? We are happy to help. Sometimes mistakes are made, and we regret you were one. But we want to make it right.

    Please contact us again if you did not receive the follow up email we sent. It had a link in it that referenced the WPIM development documentation to address the customization of the dropdown sort options. Please see here:

    https://www.wpinventory.com/documentation/developer-documentation/filters/wpim_filter_sort_by_options/

    Please allow us to regain your trust and be in your good graces. We apologize for our lack of attention and that your support request slipped through our radar.

    I have emailed you that I would consider this but that the actual question itself needs to be answered – this one has nothing to do with the original question. I had originally posted it on this forum but it looks like it’s been taken down. Thanks.

    nvg,

    Thank you. We have responded back to your email in greater detail. We have not taken down any forums or posts from our users and do not do that (not sure we have the ability). Your inquiry was essentially can you disable or get rid of the category drop down in the search. The easiest way (at this time) is to use CSS.

    #inventory_search span.categories { display: none; }

    Thank you and let us know if this solves the issue.
