• Hello, I use “classical editor” and after the last update (2.4.3) switching between “Editor” and “HTML” does not work when editing or creating posts. The editor appears, but the HTML does not.

I’m sure the last update fixed it because when I disable the plugin everything works fine and so does everything when I install the previous version of the plugin (2.4.2).

    How to solve this please?

  • Hi,

If you’re using any caching plugins or server-level caching, please clear the cache, as the latest version includes JavaScript updates that might not reflect without doing so.

Since we were unable to reproduce the issue on our end, could you please share the version of the Classic Editor and WordPress you are using? Additionally, if you could check for any console errors or server error logs, that would help us diagnose the problem further.

    Thanks

    Hi,
    thank you for your reply.

The problem occurred on several websites on which I use the plugin, both on websites with and without cache.

    Regarding your questions:
    a) WordPress version: 6.6.2
    b) Classic editor plugin version: 1.6.5

The remaining 2 requests “Additionally, if you could check for any console errors or server error logs, that would help us diagnose the problem further” unfortunately, I don’t know how to do them. If you let me know how to do it, I’ll be happy to send the error logs.

    Thanks

    Hi @gomanek ,
We’ve just released an updated version.
Please check it out and let us know if you encounter any issues.

    Thanks

    Hi,
thank you for the information about the release of the plugin update.

I tried installing the current version 2.4.4 on multiple sites and everything seems to be working fine already ??

Thanks for a really quick solution. If a similar problem reoccurs in the future, I would let you know.

    Have a nice weekend
