Non-Linking Category Template Tag

  • Okay, I’m going through the misery of transforming my W3C compliant webpage into a template. However I use javascript and a lot of CSS for my effects.

    On my left column I have a list of Categories (not links) which use javascript expanding menus to show the recent posts in each category. At least that’s the idea, it has yet to be implemented. Looking over codex.www.ads-software.com I see that all the tags that call up the name of categories call up that name as a link.

    How do I avoid that?
