Non WWW to WWW
-
Hi all,
My root has the following structure:
public_html Site1 (primary domain) Site2 (addon domain) Site3 (addon domain)
My settings for Site1 is as follows:
wordpress url: https://myfirstsite.com/site1
home url: https://myfirstsite.comI’m trying to change from non WWW to WWW (https://myfirstsite.com to https://www.myfirstsite.com), so I edited my ‘home url’ to https://www.myfirstsite.com
Generally, it is working fine, but some things appear to be broken(live preview and icons doesn’t work).
Why is this happening? Is it because I installed site1 in a subdirectory?
*Note: this problem does not exist for my addon domains. My guess is because I installed site2 in the root of its folder, whereas site1 is not installed in the root but in a subdirectory?
For my addon domain, the setting is as follows:
wordpress url: https://www.mysecondsite.com
home url: https://www.mysecondsite.comThis is what I would like to achieve with site1, is it possible?
