None of galleries working properly

  • Hello everyone,

    I have migrated wordpress installation to a new host. I have moved one single installation out of a multisite to a single installation on a new host. I managed to get everything working fine except for a gallery by BestWebSoft. So I decided to delete it and install a new gallery. I tried quite a few:
    1) Foogallery worked perfectly allright in admin including preview but id did not display thumbnails on the gallery page and the 3 column layout was broken and the lightbox was not working either.
    2) Envira showed no photos.
    3) Modula showed photos but broke website layout.
    4) Supsystic showed no photos.

    Now there is foogallery installed again, please take a look. Could anyone please give me a hint why is this happening? I have never encountered anything like that. Thanks a lot in advance.

  • Sorry, not sure. There is a javascript error on the page but can not tell from what. This forum is for WordPress support. If you are having issues with a plugin it is best that you go to the plugin’s support page where the developer can assist you.

    I’m not familiar with the galleries you’re using but after inspecting your page I can see the image links are present in the source. I also see that Foogallery uses “data-src-fg=” in place of “src=” and it appears there is an issue with that attribute. If you change the attribute to “src” your image is shown on the page.

    Hopefully this can point you somewhere in the right direction so you can start getting this sorted out.

    Thank you for your reply. I will try to take a look at that error. I don′t think this a plugin issue, as it happens to all of the gallery plugins I have tried so far.

    Must be a function in the theme if it happening with multiple gallery plugins
