Nontechie has a problem with RSS Feeds
-
I don’t even know where to start asking my questions. I have been reading through numerous posts and am even more confused. I do not have a technical background, so I am kind of lost. I do have a WordPress blog at: https://www.atticshoppe.com/blog/
I added the following code to my sidebar.php file based on info I read:
” title=”<?php _e(‘Syndicate this site using RSS’); ?>”>
<img src=”https://atticshoppe.com/blog/wp-content/themes/weblogsus/images/rssfeed.gif” alt=”RSS Feed” title=”RSS Feed” />
I now have an RSS Feed graphic that looks good, but it doesn’t work. When you click on it, it says “This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.”
When I click on RSS, it says “feed is not a registered protocol.”
I am using My Yahoo for my feeds. This is my page:
https://my.yahoo.com/p/1.htmlObviously I have missed something, but I have no clues. At this point, I am not even sure what all I have done!
Please respond in nontechie terms!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Jeanne
