noob question – want to say 'problem' instead 'message'

    Hi,

    If we understand you correctly, you want to change the label over the message text entry field.

    To do this, please complete the following:
    1) go to the plugin settings page your_site/wp-admin/admin.php?page=contact_form.php;
    2) open the “Additional settings” tab;
    3) find an option “Change the names of the contact form fields and error messages” and mark it;
    4) click the cursor with “click to expand/hide the list” title;
    5) in the drop-down list, please find and edit a text in the “Message:” field;
    6) click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the page
