Normal “Buy button” ?!

    Hi there,

    isnt it anymore possible to have a normal “buy now” button instead of these fancy paypal buttons at the end of the checkout?

    Hi @dreilaut,

    For the moment, PayPal Payments only provides the PayPal smart buttons and a dedicated credit card gateway.
    There is not yet an option for a regular button with a full-site redirect to PayPal like with PayPal Standard, but we are looking into providing a way to disable the smart buttons.

    That being said, without the smart buttons, most of the plugin features such as Vaulting, Pay Later, Alternative Payment Methods, etc. would stop working so it would lead to a basic experience that can also be provided by other PayPal intgrations.
    I can’t provide too many details yet, but we hope to be able to implement something like this within Q2 for anyone that’s looking for a basic PayPal experience.
