Norwegian language (nb-NO) not displaying, and some other issues

    Hi,

    First of all, I want to commend you for creating this simple-to-use plugin. No hassle and straight to the point!

    Unfortunately, the translation is not working. I have translated all the fields, but the changes are not showing. I’ve tried both options of browser and the language tag, but still no luck. My suspicion is that the language tag is “nb-NO” while your plugin might be looking for just “NO”. I am using WPML on the page.

    Additionally, under the “Consent Modal” tab, I changed the secondary button to “Settings,” but it is not showing on the modal.

    That’s spot on. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. This will be fixed in the next release.

    Did you update the label of the secondary button to “Settings” in Norwegian or English?

    This was addressed in 1.5.0, which was just released.

    Sorry about the delayed response. I was on vacation, and came back yesterday.

    Regarding the update, I have updated my plugin, but it has the same issue still.
    But now the consent doesn’t work either, I get “denied” for all even when I accept cookies.
    So I am gonna roll it back for now…

    Regarding the update, I have updated my plugin, but it has the same issue still.

    Please make sure you’ve selected the correct language.

    1. Navigate to wp-admin
    2. Select “Cookie Consent”
    3. Switch to the “Translations” tab
    4. Click “New Language”

    Pick the language that matches the language code on your website:

    • “Norwegian” for the NO language code
    • “Norwegian (Bokmal)” for the nb-NO language code

    But now the consent doesn’t work either, I get “denied” for all even when I accept cookies

    The issue could be caused by enabling the “Hide empty categories” option without any cookies listed.

    This is what could be going on:

    • In the “General” tab, the “Hide empty categories” option is enabled
    • In the “Cookies” tab, no cookies are listed

    If that’s not the case, please provide your settings to help us troubleshoot the issue you’re experiencing more effectively.
