    Hi Community

I just noticed that any image uploads using NextGen are not working anymore.
When I try to upload an image to a new or existing gallery, I always got a message “Upload complete – 0 images were uploaded” after I chosed an image and pressed the upload button. I use NextGen Plugin over a year without any trouble.

I read a lot here in the forum, but all solutions I found are not working for me. This is what I tried so far:

    – Deactivation of all other plugins: no upload possible
    – Switch to permalink, delete browser cache : no upload possible
    – Switch back to standard WP theme : no upload possible

Ive checked all permissions and group rights at OS level using my ssh connection. Its fine, Im able to upload and delete image to every folder in my wp-content folder.

I appreciate any help. Using our wordpress page for a cycling team and need to strongly update lot of content (images/galleries).
    Thanks in advance.
    Sascha

@fasamucker – No problem, I’m happy to help. Can you please try temporarily deactivating any other plugins you may have running and test again? You can also try a different browser, so you can rule out any browser conflict or browser add-on conflicts.

    Thanks,

    -Drew

    any resolution on this?

    Hi photocrati,

    thanks for your reply.

I did already, but I tried again. No success.

testet with Chrom, IE and Mozilla.

Let me know If i need to test anything else.

    Thanks,
    Sa

    Hi Sa,
I had this problem when I first used Nextgen gallery. I just started a new WP site and have spent the past two days trying to upload photos. The work-around that I used last time and which I am using again (after trying all of the things that you did) may be more complicated than what you want to do:

    1) I create a new gallery with the Nextgen plugin (ex. mygalleryname)

    2) I use an FTP client (FileZilla in my case) to upload the pictures into the /wp-content/gallery/mygalleryname

    3) Go back to WP and the Nextgen plugin. Find the gallery I created and to which I uploaded my pics and choose “Scan folder for new images”. It will then create thumbnails etc.

I recall from last year that once I got used to this process, it was actually pretty simple, allowed easy bulk uploading to the galleries, and still allowed me to take advantage of Nextgen’s other features.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi all,
@fasamucker, I have the same issue as you, and @photocrati, I tried the same tests, and uploads don’t works. There’re no errors in apache logs.

Disabling all plugins –> HTTP Error during Upload
Disabling personal themes and activating one of the WP standard –> Same error
Tested with FF 35.0.1/Chrome 40.0.2/Safari 8.0.2/IE 11 on Windows and MacOSX platforms.

    My scenario:
    WP 4.1 (MU)
    NG 2.0.66.37

@nwoguy, your rollback works fine, but it’s only this, a rollback… If you have a productive environment with 10-15 users that need to work with an web interface and they haven’t knowledge of FTP, permissions and other thinks, this solution it’s not comfortable… And exactly this is the main reason for we choose NextGen Gallery, because his use it’s comfortable. Thank you anyway…

    @photocrati, any solution please?

    Hey NextGen
What gives! i’ve submitted support requests with a similar problem with no response.

    @photocrati:

I`m using the way NWOguy described, and it works fine so far for me (instead of not beeing able to use the whole plugin)
