    Hey @codeinclusive ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you are seeing the above error with regard to Stripe however, it isn’t immediately clear where you are seeing this, or what actions trigger the error.

Can you please confirm what actions lead to this error and kindly share a screenshot of the error exactly as you are seeing it on your end? If you do not already have a screenshot tool installed, Snipboard.io can be used for easily sharing screenshots.

In the meantime, I would recommend rechecking your Stripe setup to ensure that the keys are present and match what you have on your Stripe dashboard. This will eliminate any doubts about the keys you’re using.

Please can you go through the following:

In case the issue persists, please share the following:

    • Stripe logs: go to WooCommerce → Settings → Logs and click the dropdown to select the latest Stripe logs.
    • System Status Report: navigate to WooCommerce?→?Status. Select?Get system report?and then?Download for Support. This will download a TXT file that has the contents of the SSR which you can then share with us here.

    Cheers!

    Hi @beautyofcode

If you can not take the issue seriously then there is no need to give a generic reply. The same issue is posted here by multiple people after WordPress 6.4 update.

    Hi there!

Thanks for getting back to us!

We take issues seriously and we are here to help you out!

I understand that the issue has been reported to the forums by several users after updating their WordPress to 6.4.

I’ve checked Stripe’s Github repository, however, I cannot find a related issue yet. In this case, I encourage you to raise this as a bug report here so that our developers can take a deeper look at this issue.

    Thanks!

    Hi @codeinclusive ,

We’d be happy to take a closer look at the issue you are experiencing however we will need some additional information in order to try and replicate this on our end.

Please can you share a copy of your System Status Report so that we can have a better understanding of your sites current environment, as well as a screenshot of the error as you are seeing it on your end.

    Cheers!

Downgraded the WordPress version and it worked, I hope it might work for others facing this issue after WordPress 6.4 update.

Hey @codeinclusive ?? Thank you for confirming the WordPress solves this issue. We’re currently trying to determine where the issue lies, as we’re unable to replicate the same errors on multiple sites and hosts with various setups.

It’d be great if you could share your site’s System Status Report with us so we can get a better idea of how it’s configured and to potentially spot any similarities between your site and the other sites facing the same issue. That will help us determine what might be happening and how to replicate the same issue so we can help further.

Would you be able to share the report with us? I’ve submitted an issue here so we can try and track down what’s happening and find a potential solution other than downgrading WordPress: WP 6.4 update causing potential Stripe API, WP-Admin, and performance issues #2751.

Hi @wpniall for your information WordPress did not solve the issue, it only worked after downgrading the WordPress version. It would be nice to test them before a new version is rolled. It’s not going well with clients and they seem too eager to move to a more stable and robust platform like Shopify. The rest is up to you guys, and how you can improve it in the coming days.

The other issue with many clients is their metadata which grows after they have a lot of orders and leads to a prolonged website load time. At times if someone is in admin then frontend stops working.

And many more issues need to be addressed before people start to move to other platforms.

    Hi @codeinclusive

We understand your concern about the compatibility issues with the new WordPress version. We continuously strive to test and improve our products, and your feedback is invaluable in this process. We’re looking into this matter and will take the necessary measures to ensure a smoother transition in future updates.

At the time being, we can’t give you an estimate for when the team will look into or fix the issue, as bug reports are prioritized based on a few criteria. If you’d like to receive updates, please subscribe to the Github’s issue here.

As a workaround, you can revert WordPress to an earlier version. You can achieve this by using the WP Rollback or Rollback Auto Update plugins.

Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

The WP 6.4.1 update that was released just now has fixed the problem for me.

    Hi @codeinclusive,

As @rob64 mentioned, updating to WP 6.4.1 seems to have resolved the issue for most users experiencing this issue.

Can you please try updating to WP 6.4.1 and see if this resolves the issue on your end?

We always recommend ensuring that you have a good?backup?of your?full site and database?before performing any updates or making any changes to your live site, so that, should something go wrong, you are able to easily restore your site to a functioning state.

    Cheers!
