First off, try flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or browser caches. Not just your browser, but any op cache or content network cache as well such as Cloudflare. If your host provider has a “Purge Varnish” option or if you can ask your provider to flush memcache on your server.

will that solve the issue? I am using a Godaddy VPS and I use plesk. I have cleared the application vault.

Any specific cache I have to clear? I am not able to figure it out.

I have already checked it. I am using a Godaddy VPS, they said they do not have access to the server.

Should I download wordpress 4.7 and replace all the folders except wp-include and check?

or is it that only server cache clear will resolve the issue?

    – If you want to try that, then try MANUALLY updating. Download a fresh copy of the WordPress .zip file to your computer, unzip it, and use that to copy up all files and folders EXCEPT the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory. You may need to delete the old wp-admin and wp-includes folders and files on your server before uploading the new ones. Please read the Manual Update directions first.
Backup: If you haven’t already done, always backup everything (including your database) before doing any actions, just in case something really goes wrong. You can never have enough backups!

    I deactivaed the plugins

    Above steps did not work.

I use a Godaddy VPS. The support said that they cannot access my server.

I used putty but i dont understand which cache to clear

what all are the places that holds the cache?

is home/var/cache is cleared.. what all other places the cache is there on a VPS?
