Not able to activate plugin; returns fatal error

    Hi I uploaded the WP2App plugin to create a mobile app for my site https://navodayatimes.in. But when I click on Plugins menu to activate it, I get a fatal error message like below:

    Fatal error: Cannot access self:: when no class scope is active in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-2-app/wp2app.php on line 168

    How do I go forward now. Even I am not able to operate any function with my site as a click on any function returns the same fatal error message. I had no option but to remove the plugin entirely from my site so that I am able to update my site.

    Any help, or way out please! I would like to use this plugin.
