Not able to add CSS ID to POST

  • Hi I am using smooth page scroll and that needs ID as a trigger.

    I am trying to add ID to
    H3 tag

    but while I update the post,
    it will show like
    <h3 id="\"a\""> instead of
    <h3 id="a">.

    I have tried with visual and text mode too. But nothing works.

    Please anyone can let me know how can I fix this?
