• Dear Team,

We are trying to add new menu items to the existing columns by setting up the correct order under Appearance > Menus, but still when we open the Mega Menu option from the top level menu item, the newly added menu item comes in a new row under the existing one.

Can you please help me fix this, as we have been trying a lot of things but of no use.

Screenshot attached for your reference, the new menu item is arranged at the above marked place, but in mega menu grid, it comes below in a new row.

Please help us fix this, thanks.

    hi c1admin,

You’ll need to drag that new item into the position you want it in in the menu builder, as it’s not possible for the plugin to automatically know that you want the new item in that particular position (there are multiple positions that could be possible locations for it to go into, but we don’t know which one).

    Tom

    Thanks for your quick response.

We tried to drag the menu item to the desired position, but the problem is the drag does not work when we try to move the item from one row to another. Drag is only working within one row.

Here is a video for your reference – https://drive.google.com/file/d/1r4kMCRG9UmDGTdLa7uswUqVXyDqgip0F/view?usp=sharing

Looking forward to a fix to this soon.

    Hi c1admin,

That should work (I’ve just tested it myself, and we’ve had no other reports). Please can you check if you are you able to drag and drop any of the menu items/widgets into new positions?

    Regards,
    Tom

Hi Tom, I have tried to share a video grab that shows I am not able to move the positions of any menu item from one row to another. I can move the positions within the row but not between two rows.

How can we quickly solve this?

    Hi c1admin,

Please try in a different browser and see if that works.

If that doesn’t work, I suspect it’s a conflict with another plugin. You’ll need to disable them all (if it’s a recent problem, then disable any recently installed or updated plugins) and try again. Then enable one by one to find the conflicting plugin.

    Regards,
    Tom
