Not able to add players to a team

Thanks for posting in this forum. What exactly do you mean by “I can’t add players to a team”? Is it an admin (back end) problem or a user side (front end) problem?

– Did you enter the players on the Add Players screen?
– Do you see the players on the Manage Players screen? (If not, try entering one there.)
– If so, is the issue that the shortcode is not showing the roster? If so, take a look at https://shoalsummitsolutions.com/tr-shortcodes/

I’m trying to add player to a team in the back end, and yes, i’m admin of my website.
The problem is that i have 3 teams created, and when i edit a player i’m not be able to add this player to a team (in the box that appears on the right).

It looks like you have three teams – Past Projects with 2 players, Projects with 6 players, and Recent Projects with no players. How did you get the players on the teams?

When you create or edit a player on the Manage Games screen, the Manage Teams metabox works like a categories metabox (because it is). So you just type a team name in the box. It will auto fill and show you options. Type the team you want, select it from the list that autofills, then click Add Team. Works for me. ??

I’ve add the projects months ago,ithink befor last update or so.
Yes,i write the name of the team (project) in the box, a name of a real team, buen when i update the pluging doesnot add the player to that team, and neither show me the options.

So this interface is a bit hanky, but hey, it’s the WordPress standard. When you type a league into the box, a list of leagues should appear [assuming you get the first few letters right]. When you select one, it should appear in the text box. I believe you type the team name, not the title or the slug. Look at the Leagues screen, to make sure you are typing the right thing. If you don’t get a list from which to select a team, something is wrong.

No, i can’t select the team name, neither, when i link to “Choose from the most used teams” it doesn’t happend nothing.
We also can’t add the player photo.
Is it posible to downgrade to previous version without loosing all the data?

That’s weird. What version of WordPress and PHP are you running? Have you turned debug on? If so, check your debug,log file. Are you seeing any messages? If not, turn debug on and see if you get anything.
