Not able to connect to Amazon

I provided my Access key Id and affiliate ID and when I press save changes this message pop up:
”Woocommerce amazon affiliates was not able to connect to amazon with the specified AWS Key Pair and Associate ID”.
My amazon associate account is Australia based. Can this be the problem?
As I putted my Affiliate details into United states as there weren’t Australia.https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-amazon-affiliates-light-version/
