I got the same error message and can not connect to my CRM online with my own Azure AD account which is administrator of my company.
I already add WPCRM_KEY into wp_config.php

I did not change anything in AzureAD.
But I can not

But how “create an exception”?

If you have a tenant provisioned before 1 April 2021 then you should check with your administrator if legacy authentication is blocked and add an exception using conditional access policies (see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/conditional-access/block-legacy-authentication). Legacy authentication is a broad definition that, unfortunately, includes protocols like WS-Trust as well.

If your tenant was provisioned after 1 April 2021, you should use newer Dataverse plugin instead. This is due to Microsoft removing WS-Trust authentication in the tenants provisioned after that date.

Our advice is to start using Dataverse plugin regardless as this is the definite way forward. We’re working on releasing premium version of that to cover the remaining gaps in functionality but if you’re after the free version, it’s readily available.

I made it work by switch to Dataverse plugin.
