Like a lot of y’all, I tried out VideoPress for a video that was previously in a cover page, but I didn’t get the expected result, so I removed the video and try putting it back into a cover page. However, I’m not able to put it back into either the standard video block or the cover page. I receive a message that reads, “I used up my one upload, so I should upgrade.”

I went to Jetpack/Settings/Performance. In the Media section, the VideoPress is green and enabled, and I can’t toggle to disable it. Underneath, the switch, it reads, “This feature has been enabled by a site administrator. Learn more.”

I went to the jetpack module page at the bottom and found VideoPress. When I click deactivate, no change occurs.

How do deactivate VideoPress, so I get my video and cover page back?

    Ron

I figured it out. Jetpack videopress is installed separately from Jetpack. Once I deactivated and deleted Jetpack videopress, all is good now.
