    I installed the statuses plugin. But there is nothing inside my posts that lets me choose a status. I only have the predefined colors on my calendar view. Inside a blog post, there is no way to select which status the post is in. There is no button at the top, nothing.

    Can somebody help?

    Hi @graciouspantry1. Thanks for using PublishPress. Here is how it should look: https://publishpress.com/docs-category/publishpress-statuses/

    Please share a screenshot of what you see.

    @graciouspantry1 Can you go the “Statuses” area in your plugin and make sure your statues are in the “Pre-publication” area at the top, please:

    How do I post an image here without using a URL? I only see how to add url through what looks like an image block.

    @graciouspantry1 Yes, that’s correct.

    If it doesn’t earlier advice doesn’t work, it’s late on Friday night now, and you may want to restore the previous versions of the plugin over the weekend. This plugin can do that: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-rollback/

    @graciouspantry1 Sorry, answers like that don’t help move us towards a resolution. Our team is taking their Friday nights to give you free help, so please try to help us more in return. The best replies are specific:

    • Share details of what you see. Screenshots of what you see are best of all.
    • Share details of what testing you’ve done and what steps you’ve taken to try and fix this.

    That’s why I asked how to share an image. I can’t upload one here. How do I do it?

    @graciouspantry1 Apologize for the delayed response due to weekend.

    Could I confirm with you that it’s resolved now?

    @graciouspantry1 We just released an update to PublishPress Statuses (version 1.0.3.4) which corrects issues with migration from PublishPress Planner.

    Please follow up if you still run into any questions or issues after the update.

    @graciouspantry1 Since the page you show in the screen capture is already scheduled, there’s not much this intitial release of Statuses would have to do with it. The road map is for us to integrate it with custom Revision statuses, at which point you could define workflows for revising published or scheduled content. But for now, to select one of the pre-publication workflow statuses, your first step would be the “Switch to Draft” button. It probably makes more sense to experiment with a post or page that’s still a draft.

    That said, we just released another update (PublishPress Statuses 1.0.4), which is a must to avoid a 3rd party code conflict if you’re using Yoast Duplicate Post.

    In the previous release late Monday, we also introduced more sample statuses to better illustrate the plugin’s features. This update brings status color display back into the management table.
