Not able to edit the theme in theme editor

    Hi,

    I am using the Revolution News Theme and when I go to the Design and then to Theme Editor, I am not able to edit the theme.

    I am getting this error message:

    This error (HTTP 500 Internal Server Error) means that the website you are visiting had a server problem which prevented the webpage from displaying.

  • As I first step, I would suggest deleting the theme from your server and re-uploading it. Then i would make sure the theme’s files have the proper permissions if you wish to edit them online.
