Not able to get free license key

    Hi there,

    everytime I try to “Get a new license” I only receive following message:

    The data we received from your Wordfence plugin installation is invalid. Please contact Wordfence support.

    Is there another way to get a free license key?

    thanks for reaching out to us and I’m sorry to hear you’re having problems with getting the license.

    We’re currently looking into what configurations may be experiencing issues such as this so it’d help us out to see what might be going wrong.

    You should still have access to the Wordfence > Tools menu to send us a diagnostic report. You can send that to us at wftest @ wordfence . com. Click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

    NOTE: It should look as follows – Screenshot of Tools > Diagnostic > Send by Email

    I am also experiencing this issue and have sent a report ??

    Update: I managed to get a free license, it somehow showed the option on the wordfence site but didn’t before.

    @wfjoshc Thank You Joshua for your fast respond. Have been afk for a while but managed today to do as you asked. Report is sent.

    I hope you can help me resolve this problem.

    Great that you reached out!

    It appears there is a mismatch between the site’s home URL and the admin URL (used to return the URL to the site after registration).


    The admin URL appears to be correct:
    https://landhaus-klosterwald.de


    However the home URL has a 2021 subdomain.
    https://2021.landhaus-klosterwald.de/


    If you remove the 2021 from the home URL, the registration should complete successfully.

    If the 2021 site is here intentionally, please let me know!
