Not able to import website content

I have bought a theme from themeforest.net and it came with a dummy data xml file. Whenever I import the content it creates several empty pages with same name.It’s happening with all the themes. Can you please help me solve this issue?

I am doing everything as shown in the tutorails but it’s still not functioning properly.

First I import the content.

In second step, it asks me to import 137 items.

In third step, I give it a random title and description.

Once the import is complete it creates 137 pages with same name that I gave in 3rd step.
