After upgrading to 2.5, after submitting the verification code, users are redirected back to the login page (wp-login.php) as if they had not logged in. No error, warning, or notification. It’s just an endless loop.

This happens with every other plugin disabled, so I think we can rule out plugin conflicts.

We are on a multisite configuration, WP: 6.2.2, PHP: 7.4.33.2, MySQL: 5.7.42, Webserver: Apache.

Rolling back to 2.4.2 resolves the issue.

Thank you for using our plugin Robanna.

I am sorry to read about your issue. Are you using the default WordPress login page or a custom login page? If it is the latter, can you please try logging in with the default WordPress theme?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I am using the default login page.

OK, I finally solved it. I am using a custom theme. I had to activate the twenty-twenty theme, log out, log in, then reactivate the custom theme.

At this point it’s working as expected. Thank you
