  • You can disable the theme to use FTP or the file manager of your control panel to delete or rename that theme folder.

i tried it by deleting theme through file manager in cp but after that my site become disappera and shows a blank page if you want i can show it again by deleting it again

Just deleting that theme (not the entire themes folder) should not kill the site, but force it to use the default theme. You didn’t delete Twentyten after installing your theme, right?

but i dont know how to force it default theme and twent10 is there

Try manually resetting your plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the Twenty Ten theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can affect the admin panel).

Same problem! What do I do if I am using Thesis as my theme? Delete Twenty Ten? Thanks!

Just follow my reply above and rename your current theme directory, which would be /thesis/. If that doesn’t work for you, please start your own topic.

i am not able to understasnd by disabling plugin how can i get back my site

do u have a backup of the Website that you have i had the same problem but i just have a timestamp kinda backup so if something don’t work right i just reset so do that if you have a back up.

one thing you can try is
    1. if in your house hosted by you. you can find the theme at www dir then WP-Content / the name of the theme delete and restart the server

    2. FTP login in Username and password for say

    and find the Dir WP-content/Themes/twentyten
    Now hit Delete or Remove

now the website will have no Content for 5 min login in like

    https://whatyourdomainis.com/WP-ADMIN

this will bring you to the dashboard

    hope this works

Forgot in my last post if that dont work Download WordPress 3.0.1 and copy the WP-admin and hit yes to overright FYI MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE DOING THIS PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    now it should work
