Not able to move a WordPress blog from a server to another

You gave the domain above as mysecondplace.org. When I go to
mysecondplace.org/iid/ I see your homepage displayed with the stylesheet. Looking at View Source, the browser is looking for the stylesheet at https://www.mysecond.org/iid/wp-content/themes/k2/style.css.
That is a different domain than mysecondplace.org. Every other reference in the HEAD of the View Source is to mysecond.org

You seem to have two domains mixed together after the move.

Since you’ve mixed domains, as stvwlf pointed out, you need to change domains and /or URLs. There are different ways to do that: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Changing_The_Site_URL

Let me try explaining again.

You say your domain is https://www.mysecondplace.org/iid/
However your WordPress site is looking for all of its resources on the domain https://www.mysecond.org/ Because those resources do not exist on the domain https://www.mysecond.org/ they are not being found.

I suspect you have entered the wrong domain name on the main WordPress settings page. Go to Admin / Settings / General and double check that you have entered https://www.mysecondplace.org/iid/ as the WordPress address and the Blog address. You may have entered https://www.mysecond.org/iid/ by mistake.

You may have to run some SQL queries on the database to remove any references to the incorrect domain, but don’t do that yet.

As stvwlf mentioned, I had a problem in my .sql file. I had https://www.mysecond.org/ instead of https://www.mysecondplace.org/ plus, my wp-options had the site name field with ‘bad’ character.

Everything works great now, but I still can’t access the wp-admin part, because of the wp-greet-box plugin.

Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /home/mysecond/public_html/iid/wp-content/plugins/wp-greet-box/wp-greet-box.php on line 898

I’ve looked for any reference of my old domain on this file, but nothing :/

Delete that plugin with FTP and then see if you can get into admin.

Hi, in case you have any question about how to do what songdogtech recommended:

If you have an FTP program set up, get into your server files using it. Navigate to the wp-content/plugins folder. In it your will see a folder named wp-greet-box. Either delete that folder entirely or else temporarily move it out of the plugins folder (wp-content is a good temp location).

If you don’t have access to an FTP program, log into your webhosting control panel and do the same using its file manager tool.

The error you are getting is from that plugin. Deleting or moving it should eliminate the error and get you back into your site.

Works fine now ?? Hadn’t thought about removing the plug-in directly from the FTP.
