Not able to redirect to home page

As I recall this got very messy because of he way WordPress handle the $wp_query data.

A fix was listed in this thread that might be worth a try:

Thanks, but I came across another issue and, despite having read the documentation and support threads, cannot figure it out – hope you can clarify things.

I have a ‘subscribe’ page with the [subscribe2] shortcode on it. Settings > Appearance is set to this page.

In my header there is a button (small GIF) with a hyperlink to this subscribe page. When a new Public Subscriber follows the link and enters their email on the subscribe page, and then clicks on their confirmation email, they get taken back to the subscribe page – but the page is exactly as it was before the new user entered their email i.e. there is no acknowledgement of their ‘click to confirm’.

This is not good as the user has no idea whether their click has been successful.

So I created a ‘success’ page, that says ‘subscribe request successful’ – but I cannot find any way to alter the destination page to the ‘success’ after a ‘click to confirm’.

How can I get the new user redirected to the ‘success’ page from the email confirmation click?

If the plugin is configured and working correctly with no theme or plugin conflicts then you should not need the ‘thank you’ page.

Something is not working.

After entering an email address on the subscribe page, the page changes to remove the input box and subscribe buttons and uses this code:
<p class="s2_message">A confirmation message is on its way to you......
to display the message.

After clicking the email confirmation link, can you clarify what should happen when re-directed back to the subscribe page and where the ‘Subscription Confirmation’ message should be displayed on it? i.e. should the confirm message be displayed using <p class=”s2_message”> in the same place as the above s2_message, with the input box and subscribe buttons turned off? If not, what?

Also, when and where should “You have successfully subscribed!” from the messages in s2_frontend get displayed?

the Subscribe2 shortcode or widget must be available on the page the form is redirected to and then you should see the “You have successfully subscribed!” message.
