Not able to save AE Template

Just installed this plugin, and this is my first time using it. I am using the Astra theme. After creating a new template, and publishing, I open elementor and drop in the social icons widget. When I try to Update though, I get the error: “Serialization of ‘Closure’ is not allowed.”

I have tried with various widgets and with all the Page Attribute templates, but nothing has an effect.
