not able to save changes to existing page?

have you tried clearing your cache? are the changes appearing the save in the backend?

I am having the same problem. I have tried deactivating all plugins as well as choosing the default theme in 3.1, but when I try and make a change to any pages or create a new page I get the error “You do not have permission to do that.” even though I’m logged in as the admin.

I have not tried to clear the cache. Could you tell me how to do that? The changes don’t appear anywhere other than on the edit page where I am making them. Not able to save them and they don’t show up when I view page. Thanks

Since you’ve already tried deactivating all your plug-ins, I would personally next try a manual reinstall of WordPress.

EDIT: I would first double-check the master 3.1 troubleshooting list to make sure there are no other possible culprits.
