• I run a site with multiple writers. If I create a new gallery and upload images to it and then leave it alone it will say that my account is the gallery author, but if i go in and edit the album to ad titles, descriptions, etc then it forces me to choose another gallery author from the drop down…and my account is not one of the options.

    How can i resolve this?

  • In the sidebar menu, go to Gallery -> Roles
Make sure all the boxes are set to “Administrator.” (or whatever role you choose)
If they are set that way, you might try the plugin “Capability Manager” that is linked at the top of the Roles options page.

If that doesn’t work, try deactivating and reactivating the plugin.

Hey idaniels, thanks for your response. unfortunately, none of those fixes worked. ?? I use Role Scoper (and its NGG extension) and wouldn’t consider switching since the Capability Manager linked from the NGG Roles page is only compatible up to 2.9.2. (WTF?!)

All role levels are set to administrator, but when i try to switch the gallery author, all i see are a list of my other contributors (who consequently all have the “author” role…not sure if that matters).

    Any other ideas?
