Not able to upload featured image and media

  • Hello,

    I was wondering if anyone could help me out. for the last hour iam unable to upload featured images or add media to my posts. What could be the problem? The upload window has disappeared. I did not change anything ! it just happend :/

    I have only jetpack plugin installed, so turning on / off my plugins isn’t a solution.

    in dashbord / media / add media i can still upload media !!! but i cant add them to my posts.

    I have only jetpack plugin installed, so turning on / off my plugins isn’t a solution.

    Have you tried:
    – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Sixteen, etc.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue.

    Ive switched to the default Theme and i was able to upload media and featured image.

    So this means theme specific? i didnt change anything, it just stopped working :/

    Is this a commercial paid for theme? Or one of those free WordPress theme?

    Commercial paid theme Kobiasicomputing. But i did not update it or anything. Without changing anything i can now upload the featured image again, but its not uploading, i can only select the file. Adding media in still not possible

    Yes, it’s the theme specific issue.

    Since that is a commercial theme, we ask that you please go to their official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best.

    Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working properly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.

    it worked for 2 hours and now it doesn’t anymore :-/ . I dont think this is related to my theme tbh.

    anyone else has any idea’s?
