I installed the Mailchimp for Woocommerce plugin to my website. When trying to connect in the initial setup, it will not accept the API key. The page simply refreshes but does not go to the next step.

The plugin was working properly yesterday before I deactivated it and deleted it because I needed to sync a different list. Since then, this plug in has not been working.

Hi @erikallkelly! Sorry to hear you’re having issues with the plugin, we definitely want to try to help out.

Usually, when there are problems with saving fields or API keys it’s related to some sort of caching issue. It could be a plugin or cloud service getting in the way, e.g. Cloudflare. Do you have anything like that running on your WordPress install? If you don’t, that’s ok, we just wanted to check on that first. We can try to look at a few other things as well.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

I’m in the same boat. I uninstalled and reinstalled to address a console error as recommended in a different thread. Now I can get past the API key set up. I get
    “Gateway Timeout
The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application.”

I have disabled CDN and Caching still no luck.

Hi @acal, thanks for reaching out. Who is your host with this particular site?

Hi, I’m having the same problems. As a result of the plugin, I disconnected the woocommerce store from my mailchimp and can no longer reconnect that either.
