Not All Categories displayed on Categories Page

  • A bad theme or plugin?

    Incredibly unlikely – there are 71 other sites on the same network, using the same plugins (which have been working together quite well for quite some time) and I can’t replicate the problem on any of them!

    I resolved this issue by manually tweaking the database. somehow, a category was set to be its own Parent. correcting the value straightened it out.

    However – I still have a related issue, and I’m sure it’s no coincidence, that whenever I try to view the category listing for that category, I get a white screen and no error messages. All other categories work as expected.

    Thoughts?
