Not All Events Showing

    I have the calendar installed on a client website and it’s been working fine BUT, today they contacted me to say events added to their Outlook calendar recently are not being synced with the website calendar.

    They have many added beyond June 2021 but nothing is showing. I have the shortcode set to limit days to 730 (have tried 365 too). I’ve cleared server cache, website cache and browser cache but still nothing.

    Any suggestions?

    As a starting point, I would recommend downloading the raw ICS file (enter your ICS feed URL into your web browser; it should download a file).

    Open that file in a text editor, and search for the newly added events. If they are not present in the ICS feed file, then the issue is with the calendar itself, most likely something about the specifics of the newly added events.

    If the events are present in the ICS feed file, but not showing up on the website, then it is almost definitely an issue of the parsed calendar data being stored in WordPress transients. Try adding reload="true" to the shortcode to bypass transient storage and reload the calendar data live on every page load. (This is not a good setting to leave on permanently if your site gets a lot of traffic.)

    So the last event on the ics feed file is the last one showing on the calendar so it must be something not right on the Outlook calendar itself.

    Glad to help. Sounds like this one is out of my hands, but if you do find it looks like a problem with the plugin after all, let me know. (Also, I can’t guarantee I’ll always respond this quickly… I just happen to be actively monitoring the support forum today for another issue.)
