I’m using the Blogmaster Pro theme, and have a recurring problem with images not loading, if the post has more than 2 or 3 images. They appear correctly in the editor, but after Upload, they do not load in the browsers – even in “Preview”. This happened once before about a month ago, and I was able to fix it by disabling “Enable Fast Load”. Now, the problem has returned, and I can no longer even find that setting.

I have tried different themes, and the same problem: captions all load, and a few images, but not all.

I have tried reducing the sizes of the images.

I have just now restored from backup from a date a few weeks ago, when I resolved it the first time, no change

Images do not load correctly regardless of browser, OS or device used to access.

Any suggestions for permanently resolving this issue are appreciated.

Actually, just resolved this myself. In Jetpack, I disabled “enhance image performance”, and they all now load immediately. Apparently, Jetpack is using a definitions of “enhance” and “performance” with which I am unfamiliar ….

    Thank you Jim (@jimsantos)

    Worked for me too .

@jimsantos, you’re my hero!! After searching for an hour why none of my photos were showing on my PHOTOGRAPHY website, that tiny toggle was the magic button. Thank you!

@jimsantos OMG!!! thank you soooooo much

I’ve been facing this issue for a month now and literally been banging my head against the wall

I even ended up re-uploading most of my images and still couldn’t get to the bottom of it

Thank you! Works like a charm.

Glad to hear it is working for everyone, but I still find that once and a while the “feature” will turn itself back on, and I have to go in and toggle it off once more. Still looking for a fix for that.

Right after installing the plugin I noticed that a few images out of many hundreds failed to display. Four to be exact and at least 3 were .png. All photos and graphics which were jpg were fine. Looking at the <img tag showed the old http:. Not sure why not all images had their addresses converted. I do have the green lock and am free of mixed content.
    Thank you for the plugin.
