Not all pages appear

The interface seems simple enough, but the one page I wanted to make private and accessible to a specific level of users didn’t appear on the list. I tried publishing it, unpublishing it, setting it as a private page or a public page – nothing worked.

Changing the user status separately and setting privacy using the standard public/private/password-protected menu also didn’t work – I added a test user for the group I wanted to give access to a private page and the page was hidden.
