Not all thumbnails showing on category pages even though there are slots left

    Hello,

    I am trying to figure out why even though the category pages have 12 slots, only 9 thumbnails are filling up and then forcing the rest of the thumbnails onto subsequent pages.

    In other words, even though I have more than 12 subcategories, the number shown stops at 9, so it seems like there are no more categories and the user may stop navigating. This is a bad user experience.

    I can’t find any setting which is limiting this. Has anyone encountered this before?

    If you’ve already made sure that your settings are set to display 12 products per page, I’d recommend checking if your theme’s template supports this.

    To do that, you’ll want to temporarily try using the Twenty Seventeen or Storefront theme.

    If you haven’t checked your display settings yet, go to Appearances > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Catalog

    Hi Phil,

    Thanks for your reply. That’s the first thing I checked, but for some reason, that option is not available in those settings. All I see is how to visualize the categories in the store, on the product category pages and in what order. There are no other options. This is why I am confused on why fewer settings are showing.

    I am on WP 4.9.6 and WooCommerce 3.4.3.

    Is this something the themers might have disabled? I am using Divi theme.

    Hey @antorera,

    From what you describe it could be a setting within the Divi theme, have you cross-tested by temporarily activating a different theme like Storefront or similar to see how they content then displays?
