Not allowed to send spam

    Getting this error when adding new user to site and the confirmation email does not get sent. Checking the email log and trying to resend but always I get this popup “Admin(user) is not allowed to send spam”
    All the forms on the page works, also the woocommerce shopping emails works. Its only when register a new user in admin.

    Any suggestions?

  • Your server is marking the email as spam,
    check the plugin email log and verify that the from, to, etc are correct.

    if you don’t see something strange contact your email provider support.

    Actually one more thing.
    I tried under settings ->Account ->Sendfunction to pick POSTSMTP instead because as the text line under says if having problem with wp_mail try using PHP mailer instead.
    Then the error is instead: SMTP Error: data not accepted.

    Hi @carlos1984,

    Does mail send with either the PostSMTP mailer, or PHPmailer – or do neither work? I am lost! ??
