Not Allowing Me To Changes Category Slug

I want to change the slug of https://www.howtodjquickly.com/dj-equipment-2 to https://www.howtodjquickly.com/dj-equipment (I want to remove the “-2” appended to the end). However, it is saying “Category not updated.”
I even tried to create an entire new category, but it just made it https://www.howtodjquickly.com/dj-equipment-4. Please help!
