Not blocking IP addresses on 6.05

  • Once they get in they are in the good cache. You need to clear the cache.

    The plugin checks the cache first and stops checking if they are in the good cache.

    The cache clears the IP out in an hour if it gets no hits on the IP, but if you are continually being hit, you may have to clear the cache manually.

    That IP id Power Up Hosting – a known spam source. If you had checked off the “United States” box in the country deny list, it would have been blocked to begin with.

    Checking the box only blocks known spam sources in that country, and not the whole country.
