• Not compatible with 4.8.1! Got quick support on the issue, but couldnt find problem due to no error logs both PHP in cpanel and WP in wp+config.

  • Hello @kietygory,

Could you please give more details?

    Thanks.

    Hi George,
I installed it. Put in maintenance details. Worked fine. But then the plugin interface was blanked (the attached screenshot, just imagine it complete white), could not change the maintenance details. Could not deactivate.

    Picture:

It was active and it showed the message. But now i couldnt change it.

Had to deactivate via plugin interface and delete the plugin.

Weird thing, when i went into plugin, it momentarily showed the details and i could change, but like, for split second before it went blank.

    Details:
    – Nordicsolarenergy.com
    – Theme – Hestia
    – wordpress 4.8.1

I am now using another plugin. But if we figure out the problem, and solve it, then I will remove this comment and rating, replace it with 5 star with support for fix. I can test it on another domain.

    BR – Kiet

@kietygory: do you have access to your PHP error logs or WP debug.log enabled? Would be very useful to see the logs. Thanks.

I looked in wp-content, cant find the log. think its not active. Any other way I can access the log?

@kietygory: if there is no debug.log in wp-content… it means that you don’t have it enabled.
So, try to find the PHP error logs for that domain (take a look in your cPanel).

Meantime… I’ve tested the plugin on WP 4.8.1 + Hestia and it works fine.

Sorry PHP error message is also off in cpanel :(. Thanks for the support though, it did troubleshoot, but it seems like we cant solve this. Will remove the comment and rating.

@kietygory: I understand. Unfortunately, without the error logs I can’t detect and repair the bug (if any!) because on my development environment (with WP 4.8.1) the plugin is working fine. No blank screens, no errors in the error log.

So… next time you have a problem like this, please enable the error logs and open a ticket before posting a negative review for a plugin.
