Not compatible with latest version of WordPress

  • Hi,
    It looks like this plugin is no longer compatible with WordPress. When I tick which category I want to assign to a user, the save button doesn’t seem to work as it shows as being unticked after save. Plus, when I log out and try to log in as the user, (to test), it doesn’t let them see the Dashboard, so they can’t post anything.
    Are you planning on updating this plugin in the near future?

  • Actually I have tested the plugin with versions ranging from 4.8 to 5.1.1 and it doesn’t work with any of them.

    I’ve also tested it with different php versions (5.3, 5.6, 7.2). Didn’t help either.

    So I started testing old versions of the plugin. It looks like it got broken with version 1.3.2 (1.3.3 is the latest). 1.3.1 works fine, although it has some bugs but nothing big.

    It doesn’t work with the new editor but it works with the Classic Editor.

    Thanks for investigating @brooner , much appreciated. Hopefully the developers of the plugin will decide to update it.
