    The footnotes “+” sign is NOT opening up nor are the numbered footnotes when I click on them in windows. They work in Mac. Whats going on? Why isn’t the references + sign not open as well as the numbered footnotes not jumping down to the reference.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Sorry for not looking earlier, please. Thank you for letting us know that the issue is fixed. I’ve never heard of it before and don’t have any clues (beside a potential IE issue). Please feel free to share the solution, as it might be helpful to other WordPress users or at least to users of the Footnotes plugin, that is using jQuery as provided by WordPress.

    @steelers66,

    Just checked the page that you shared for the issue: I am having the same bug as you did and it does not work for me either. My current guess is that deactivating rocketlazyloadscript should fix the issue, the more as the console complains about an Uncaught ReferenceError: footnote_moveToReference_3048_1 is not defined at HTMLAnchorElement.onclick ((index):330) (for the first footnote referrer), also when clicking the + sign.

    If it works on the Mac, then Safari might be able to circumvent the lazy load and not let it affect its functionalities. (I’m currently using Brave on Linux.)
